The Empack and Logistics & Automation Porto \u2013 the largest trade fair in the country dedicated to the packaging, storage, maintenance, logistics, and transportation sectors \u2013 has just announced another update: Ricardo Costa will be the Keynote Speaker for this 8th edition.<\/p>\n

Ricardo Costa is the CEO of Grupo Bernardo da Costa, President of the Minho Business Association, consultant, and one of the most influential names on the LinkedIn social network. However, the most curious fact on his resume is that he was a pioneer in creating a Happiness Department in the company he leads.<\/p>\n

And it is with this theme that the entrepreneur will be present on the 1st day of the fair at Exponor on April 17th. Ricardo Costa will speak on “Humanized Leadership – The formula for happy companies” \u2013 a topic he has been following and working on since 2017, when he created the Happiness Department in the company founded by his grandfather over 60 years ago.<\/p>\n

But what is this Happiness Department in a company? What is it based on, and how can you tell if it’s producing results? The answer to these and other questions will be revealed at the largest trade fair in the sector in Portugal.<\/p>\n

During these two days dedicated to the future of the industry, Empack and Logistics & Automation Porto have also prepared several sharing moments with relevant topics for professionals. On the agenda for April 17th and 18th at Exponor, attendees can participate in lectures and roundtable discussions such as “Challenges of intralogistics in today’s world”, “Weaving Sustainability: A Circular Conversation about the Textile Future”, or “Automation and Robotics – Challenges and results”.<\/p>\n

Continuing on the theme of sustainability, Joana Campos Silva – a circular design and communication consultant in the fashion industry – will give a lecture on “Sustainability vs. Circularity – Challenges and international best practices”.
