Grandes retalhistas t\u00eam tamb\u00e9m tentado otimizar as suas opera\u00e7\u00f5es, aumentando a efici\u00eancia da sua opera\u00e7\u00e3o e investindo em tecnologia para fintar as dificuldades.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Num artigo recentemente publicado pela revista Fortune, mostra-se como os dados e intelig\u00eancia artificial podem ajudar grandes empresas como a FedEx ou a Amazon a melhorar as suas opera\u00e7\u00f5es. Sriram Krishnasamy, chief executive officer of FedEx Dataworks lembra que basear as opera\u00e7\u00f5es em dados melhora v\u00e1rios aspetos das decis\u00f5es, permitindo, desde logo, maior transpar\u00eancia interna e para o cliente.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Neste \u00e2mbito, dando um exemplo concreto, depois de lan\u00e7ado o FedEx Dataworks, em plena pandemia, ainda em 2020, a empresa aumentou de forma consider\u00e1vel a qualidade das suas opera\u00e7\u00f5es. \u201cPara a maioria das empresas, os dados gerados por toda a supply chain s\u00e3o simplesmente algo que eles tentam gerir mais do que cultivar. Os dados e informa\u00e7\u00e3o, por norma, est\u00e3o presos em silos, s\u00e3o acompanhados e partilhados, mas sem termos no\u00e7\u00e3o da sua express\u00e3o nas opera\u00e7\u00f5es\u201d, defendeu Krishnasamy.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Recorrendo a solu\u00e7\u00f5es de Intelig\u00eancia Artificial, a empresa come\u00e7ou a trabalhar de forma mais otimizada os dados que recolhia, o que lhe permitiu lan\u00e7ar mias de 40 solu\u00e7\u00f5es para serem usadas internamente ou pelos seus parceiros, permitindo melhores tomada de decis\u00f5es e previs\u00e3o do comportamento do
