Numa confer\u00eancia de imprensa acerca do progresso da empresa na \u00e1rea da sustentabilidade, a multinacional refor\u00e7ou o seu compromisso na redu\u00e7\u00e3o para metade das emiss\u00f5es de gases com efeito de estufa (GEE), at\u00e9 2030, e atingir a neutralidade carb\u00f3nica at\u00e9 2050.<\/p><div id=\"part3849053\" class=\"P2\"><p>A multinacional comprometeu-se a tornar 100% das suas embalagens recicl\u00e1veis ou reutiliz\u00e1veis e a reduzir a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de pl\u00e1sticos virgens em um ter\u00e7o, objetivo, ali\u00e1s que conta j\u00e1 com uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o de 10,5% desde 2018, o ano considerado base para redu\u00e7\u00e3o. Este compromisso significa utilizar mais material reciclado, criar mais embalagens reutiliz\u00e1veis, ou remov\u00ea-las totalmente sempre que poss\u00edvel. No in\u00edcio de 2020, a Nestl\u00e9 anunciou um investimento de at\u00e9 2 mil milh\u00f5es de francos su\u00ed\u00e7os para acelerar a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de pl\u00e1sticos reciclados de qualidade alimentar e o desenvolvimento de solu\u00e7\u00f5es inovadoras de embalagens, bem como criar um fundo de capital de risco para embalagens sustent\u00e1veis no valor de 250 milh\u00f5es de francos su\u00ed\u00e7os.<\/p><\/div><div id=\"part3849054\" class=\"P2\"><p>Com o objetivo de progredir nos seus compromissos de circularidade, tem havido esfor\u00e7os s\u00f3lidos tanto na conce\u00e7\u00e3o das embalagens (D4R: Designed-For-Recycling), como no desenvolvimento de infraestruturas de reciclagem (S4R: Systems-For-Recycling). Independentemente do tipo de material utilizado nas embalagens, qualquer material de embalagem \u00e9 considerado efetivamente reciclado se existir um sistema de infraestruturas que apoie a sua
