Kardex PortScale for Autostore

Kardex PortScale is part of the Kardex AutoStore SmartWorkStation, an integrated workstation concept that combines technologies such as the Kardex IntuitivePickingAssistant (IPA), barcode scanning, computer vision, data capturing for track & trace and weight-based verification to support accurate and efficient picking processes.

By integrating precise weight measurement directly into the AutoStore port, PortScale enables real-time bin weighing and automated item-count verification during replenishment and picking processes. The system continuously measures bin weight, enabling instant detection of picking errors, maintaining accurate inventory data, and reducing the need for manual counting.
