Good practices for using adhesive tape.

First of all, if you use adhesive tape in your business, it's essential to know the best practices for its correct use. Therefore, today we're sharing some tips to make it easier for you to put them into practice. Adhesive tape is a product whose importance is often underestimated, yet it contributes significantly to the security of packaging. Besides allowing a box to be closed, it also serves to mark it and prevent attempts to open or steal the package. But how do you choose, apply, and preserve this product so that your shipments arrive safely? What type of adhesive tape do you need? There are several models available: acrylic polypropylene adhesive tape, solvent or heat-fusible tape, gummed tape, paper adhesive tape, among others. However, it's not always easy to find the adhesive tape that suits your needs. The trick is to choose the adhesive according to, primarily, the weight and material of the packaging: Polypropylene adhesive tape with acrylic glue for medium and heavy loads. It is therefore resistant to temperature variations and UV rays, and compatible with a wide variety of surfaces (recycled cardboard…); Polypropylene adhesive tape with solvent glue: this is the most common type of adhesive tape. Its adhesive is more resistant to temperature and humidity variations; Polypropylene adhesive tape with hot melt water-based adhesive. It is ideal for heavy loads, being particularly resistant to abrasion and stretching; PVC adhesive tape with solvent adhesive allows its use only at room temperature and for packages up to 25 kg. For example, you can also choose a customized adhesive tape. In this sense, this makes the closure of your packaging unique, as well as discouraging anyone interested in opening it during shipping, as this type of tape cannot be replaced.
