Skypod® Next Generation is the evolution of Exotec’s robotic system, designed to address the current and future challenges of logistics centers.

Skypod Next Gen stands out for its higher density, flexibility and scalability, enabling companies to optimize space utilization, increase productivity and adapt to increasingly demanding operational environments. Its modular, standardized architecture allows customization to each customer’s needs and supports the system’s progressive evolution over time.

The system consists of racking, robots and workstations. The robots concentrate all moving elements and operate under real-time monitoring, ensuring availability, operational stability and consistent productivity.

One of its most significant innovations is the ability to move 100% underneath the racking, eliminating the need for aisles and increasing storage density by up to 30%. The robots access all loads directly and transport containers of up to 30 kg to the workstations, maximizing warehouse volume with heights of up to 14 meters and single- or double-deep configurations. The “goods-to-person” principle remains the foundation for high performance levels.

Scalability continues to be a key differentiator. The system can be sized to meet immediate requirements and rapidly expanded in both static and dynamic capacity. In addition, Skypod Next Gen integrates advanced functionalities such as open and closed order management, mixed picking of individual items and full cases, and the ability to perform packing directly at the picking station, improving efficiency and return on investment.
