Gatão Lata wins award at International Canned Wine Competition

Gatão Lata, a José Maria Vieira (Sociedade dos Vinhos Borges) brand, won the Package Design Award at the International Canned Wine Competition. The third edition of the competition, which took place in the United States, received more than 300 entries from all four corners of the world. The design of the can that won the award was created by Rita Rivotti.

“We followed our instincts in order to arrive at an image with a strong impact, attractive, appealing, always preserving the graphic heritage of the entire line and the brand, and always bearing in mind the target of this new format, as well as the style of wine: young and fresh. We launched this new concept in March and it has been a great success both nationally and internationally,” comments Ana Montenegro, communications and public relations manager at Sociedade dos Vinhos Borges, quoted in a press release.
