PetriTag®

PetriTag® is a portable and miniaturized Petri dish. A sustainable, intelligent, and economical paper-based bacterial detector, PetriTag® is designed to ensure safety and transparency in the transport and consumption of fresh food. PetriTag® is a simple and sustainable solution for bacterial detection that can be stored dry for up to 12 months. It requires no additional equipment, refrigeration, or specialists to analyze the results, eliminating the need to send samples to a laboratory, saving time and money. Based on paper and a proprietary hydrogel, PetriTag® reacts to the presence, density, and type of bacteria through colorimetric change.
