Europe tests the future of urban air mobility

The AMU-LED project, part of the European Union’s H2020 programme, has been launched with the aim of “demonstrating the safe integration of various types of drone operations in urban skies,” Everis said in a statement.

The project will run for the next two years and aims to “present one of the largest demonstrations of mobility services with aerial vehicles in urban environments by 2022”. The cities where the pilot demonstration will take place are Santiago de Compostela (Spain), Cranfield (United Kingdom) and Amsterdam and Rotterdam (Netherlands).
