Key Responsibilities
Analyse Customer’s intralogistics requirements, from both a process perspective and an in-depth data analysis, and create conceptual solution ideas to fulfil these requirements, based on the company’s product portfolio, solution standards, and where required, 3rd party solutions, products or services;
Interact and organize meetings with Project Execution, Engineering, Software, R&D, Product Supply Chain and After Sales departments to properly configure and price solutions, equipment or services;
Interact with 3rd party supplies by developing the RFQ documentation and analyzing their offers to fit solution requirements;
Create detailed CAD layouts for the solution and assist in the creation of 3D models or animations for the solution;
Make performance calculations to determine the adequate equipment configuration and quantity, based on company guidelines and tools;
Develop the technical proposal for the customer, including design base, solution description and acceptance criteria;
Calculate the cost of the designed solutions, based on company guidelines and tools;
Support sales managers at customer meetings, performing solution technical presentations and clarifications when needed;
In coordination with the sales managers, ensure proper hand-over of sold projects to the execution team(s) based on company standards and processes
Promote continuous improvement and collaborate in the creation of standard tools and guidelines for solution development;
Keep track of the competition, new developments, trends and capabilities in the supply chain automation business
