Description

Working with Voice Picking in a warehouse environment, whatever the sector, is essential to make all the work simpler, faster and with greater control by the operator and responsible. Voice Picking, like any other solution, aims to improve the service for registering information on products in the warehouse. Voice picking is also known as voice picking, pick by voice, pick 2 voice, pick to voice, but we always talk about the same technology.

In the case of Ivanti SpeakEasy solutions implemented by IDentPrint, as the name Speakeasy suggests, they are very easy to implement and internationally recognized!
This Voice Picking solution is characterized by the fact that we are able to implement the project very easily and without using servers and/or additional tasks development, thus making the implementation very fast (about 1 week) and economical in any ERP or WMS SAP system, Oracle, AS400, Navision, etc.

It does not need a terminal dedicated to the solution, as it has the advantage of being able to use the typical warehouse terminals (PDA/PDT), making most of the equipment already existing in the warehouse, adding Headset Picking to them, to indicate/confirm the voice tasks and helping operators in the different processes: picking, dispatch, reception, etc. These can Bluetooth Headset or Cable Headset, depending on what the customer chooses, but with noise suppression to work perfectly in industrial/noisy environments.
Often to free up operators’ hands even more, we use ringscanner (ring/finger barcode scanners) so they can read location tags or serial numbers hands-free.

An important set of advantages, which are important to retain when choosing Voice Picking:
• Makes the process faster, as the operator receives the information through the ear, in a simple and much faster way.
• Lower registration error rate.
• Improved operator performance and productivity.
• Work more efficiently in less time.
• Easy and economical to implement.
